Activity 2: Fabulous Ferns
One of the most common plants found in New Zealand forests is the fern. It is a special, iconic symbol of New Zealand. You will find pictures of ferns on the jerseys of many famous sporting teams in New Zealand, including the New Zealand All Blacks.
Did you know that many of these teams also have the word ‘fern’ in their name? Use your best researching skills to find three New Zealand sporting teams who use the word ‘fern’ in their title.
On your blog list three sports teams that have the word ‘fern’ in their title. Beside each team’s name, post a picture of their uniform. Then, at the bottom of your blog post tell us which of the three uniforms you like best and why.

I like the All blacks uniforms best because, it looks more comfortable and it one of the best t-shirt of all, also it represent the country of New Zealand.

ReplyDeleteI can see that you've managed to find three NZ sports teams with the word 'ferns' in their title. As a part of this task, you will need to find the images of the uniform for all three teams and put it next to their names. Could you do this by editing your post?
Which part of All Black's uniform design did you like the most? Comfort is super important when it comes to sports uniforms like this so ka pai for mentioning this aspect. Do you also like the colour? Would you change anything if you were a designer?
