WALT - Our Multiplicative thinking to solve the unknown value.
In Maths I've been learning how to solve an unknown value. Here is an example.
3a+10=40
I know your wondering what is the "a" doing there. "a" is just telling you to times it.
3 x what number to get to 40
we can say
3 x 10 = 30 then you have the + 10 left so its 3 x 10 + 10 = 40.
This is what I've been learning about in Maths.
