Learn: To solve a problem by using Place Value.
Example: 41 - 18 =
40+1 - 10+8
30 + 1 - 8
22 + 1 =23
I know my answer is correct because I used Place Value.
23 + 18 = 41
20 + 3 + 10 + 8
30 +10 + 1 =41
Maths Strategy
1. 92 - 47 = 45
90 - 40 = 50 + 2 -7
43+2=45
2.62 - 27 = 35
60 - 20 = 40+2-7
33+2 = 35
3.31 - 17 = 14
30 - 10 =20+1-7
13 + 1 =14
4.301 - 17 = 134
300 - 100=200
200 - 60 =140
140 - 7 = 133
133 + 1=134
5.121 - 86
100 - 80=20
20 - 6=14
14+20=34
34+1=35
